We love taking on the responsibility of making sure your wedding day comes together while making it as stress free as possible. Your wedding day represents your love story, a day that is designed just for the two of you. It is likely the biggest party you've ever planned with all of your closest friends and family and our mission is to provide you with the time needed to savour every moment, while we focus on making your wedding vision come to life.
We view your weddings and events as more than a timeline, great food and beautiful linens. It's about creating an experience that you and your guests will remember for many years to come. Heather
Founder, Lead planner & Officiant
Heather has been informally and formally planning weddings and events for over a decade, and is certified planner through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. She encourages her clients to continuously educate themselves about the wedding industry and prioritize components of their event that best reflect their life style. She has many titles within the Bowtie team however she prefers to focus on one role at a time while being a back up for the others, aka Plan B.
She believes in giving back to her community which is why she volunteered for more than 10 years combined with the Kingston Police Community Volunteers, Victim Services of Kingston Frontenac, Big Brothers Big Sisters, & the Canadian Cancer Society. Together with the Kingston Habitat for Humanity planning committee, she aided in organizing a single charity event that raised over $18,000 in one day.
