S&A’s Classic Wedding | Isabel Bader Centre, Kingston

There is something timeless about a classic wedding at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingston, Ontario. Having worked at the venue for years, we have come to appreciate not only its seamless flow and breathtaking waterfront setting, but also how effortlessly its floor-to-ceiling windows and modern architecture create the perfect backdrop for an elegant wedding celebration.

A&S’s day began with a beautiful off-site church wedding surrounded by family, friends, and the couple’s sweetest little boy, their son, who completely stole hearts throughout the day. Every detail reflected the couple’s warm and joyful personalities, from the soft palette of blush pinks and dusty blues to the thoughtful touches woven into every part of the celebration.

One of the most memorable design elements was the handmade 6-foot seating chart, lovingly created to welcome guests into the reception space. Inside, tables were filled with romantic florals by the extremely talented Liv Simple Farms, whose arrangements perfectly captured the soft garden-inspired vision of the day. The reception also featured a charming two-tier naked cake accented with a delicate floral meadow, adding an organic and timeless touch to the overall design.

The bride was truly the sweetest, bringing so much warmth and kindness to every interaction throughout the planning process and wedding day itself. One of the evening’s standout moments came later in the celebration when the groom surprised guests by changing into a black-and-white dinner blazer that had been secretly gifted to him by his wife. It was stylish, emotional, and completely fitting for such a thoughtful couple.

This wedding was also made even more memorable thanks to the incredible Cacie Carroll Photography. Working alongside Cacie was an absolute joy, and the energy, creativity, and collaboration throughout the day made the entire experience unforgettable. It is rare to work with a photographer who brings such talent while also making the day genuinely fun for everyone involved.
